Welcome to Parker's Photography

My name is Ian Parker, I’m from St Albans, in Hertfordshire, where I live with my wife and 3 children.

I started, as a lot of photographers do, with wildlife and landscape photography before I realised I wanted more of a challenge- and a headache! I decided to start shooting people.

During our time, I’d like you to feel relaxed and comfortable throughout your entire shoot, whether that is studio-based or outside on location. We can make your vision work no matter how challenging. I’m eager to give you the best experience whether it’s a 30-minute mini shoot or a full day event such as a wedding. It will be a polite and friendly encounter, I love to build a positive rapport with my customers to ensure this.

We used Parkers Photography for my daughters Christening and can honestly say it was the best photography experience I've ever had. Ian is so professional and also so friendly and was talking to my guests and making sure he had photos of family and friends together and was going round to everyone making sure they all had a photo. Even with my daughter being autistic and not getting in any photos he still managed to get some lovely shots of her. We had a maternity/family photoshoot done by Ian recently.
The entire experience was great!
Firstly, him and his wife were super good at working with our child - who was shy and not really wanting to cooperate. They had music playing to help ease her as well as having snacks and water available.
They made the environment laid back and comfortable, which is exactly what you'd want at a maternity shoot! No stress and awkwardness.
He was great at accommodating to the visions we had for photos, as well as suggesting ideas that could look cool
The level of professionalism from him as a photographer was high and we would definitely utilise his skills again!
